This is one of delicacies that is so famous,Malaysian call it Sotong Masak Hitam.Basically we are using the ink of the squid as the sauce of the dish.
HOW TO GET THE INK OF AN SQUID?
When you open the squid ,which is taking out its guts and cartilage.U can see a tiny silver pouch hanging ,when u stab it the ink will burst out from it.So be careful.
My style is just take the pouch into pan,I used all the ink pouch for flavour and colour ^^
- 500g of Squid with ink
- 20g ginger
- 20g onion
- 20g garlic
- 2og Big onion@bawang besar
- salt n pepper
- saute the ingredients ,I mean all the ingredient except squid
- after the aroma rise,
- add up the squid
- done!!!so easy
Most of the time squid hv lots of water inside it ,so if u want more sauce u can add more water.
If u want more color u can add up veggies like Capiscum,or any veggies u like.^^
