Hi peeps..

this season ROCKS!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! especially this guy above Jesse Campbell,42 years of age.He sang like amahziieeng!!! his tone,pitch(like I know what it is),his EMOTIONS was so deep making me had goosebump not once but thousand times!!

he sang "a song for you which I never heard before and make me fell in love in a blink of an eye.OMG! I am excited !

and here is Chriss Mann....an expert in Opera ,sang an amazing non-english song that truly shows the unique class of voice...It was incredible,I LOVE IT!!!!! OMG am excited to the max!!!!

this twos really awesome,similarity between them is they sing for life.I mean they sing for living ,spent years singing and that years of experience and knowledge really shows in their performance.
These talents really makes me feel small....awwwww I wish I have "The Voice"

p/s:I really want to take vocal classes....I have a dream to you know.....:P

I have no intention to be pervert or anything near it okay.....this is actually a chronic manifestation of Filariasis where there will be basically lymphedema of limbs and external genitalia

This disease is transmitted by mosquitoes,midges,blackfly.

I reckon that we ,me especially take mosquitoes bite for granted.As we didn't even think that it may lead in the making of huge penises.lol!! okay sorry...-.-

even though it is mostly occur in India and Africa ..why not we prevent it right?

okay this post is a story regarding my Bengkel that I attend at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort.

It is organize by HEP to polished and upgrade the Master of ceremony (emcee) talents in USM.

The program Called: Bengkel Pengacaraan dan Protokol (How to be an excellent master of ceremony)

To begin with,I am actually very pleased and excited to join this event because I love becoming MC ,and I do want to grasp as many knowledge on how to be better MC , formal or informal.

so 8 of us ,10 including Kak Tina and Abg Driver start our journey approximately 8.30am.

It was a loooong ride........my ass is cramp,stiff and I think it may have blister already.seriously,the journey from Kubang Kerian to Bukit merah is ENDLESS!!! arghhh

arrive at a Resting Site at Bukit Gampang.There were lots fruits here,very nice!!

GPS used by Abg Driver,I want one to for my car too.I try to google it but nahhh nothing similar came out.I even forgot its brand.


I walk around at Resting site at Bukit Gampang and found this fountain.p/s: their surau is really nice...

again one of many fruit stalls there

the lady told me this is some sort of PLUM or some weird name !!! and I taste it ,hmm confirm MANGGO!!! it was yummy!

So,after battling with my Gluteus maximus (ass muscle) we arrive at Bukit Merah!!

Tips For Amatuer Marathon Runner

This is what I had used and it works!

Pre Marathon

Do train religiously,but do not strain urself too much,for me frequency of training in a week is more important than the distance u run
having injury is common,the commonest is knee injury.So please search for the solution on how to reduce those injuries .For example,using knee support
Please invest in a good pair of running shoes,
buy things that are necessary,It depends on runners,I do buy towel and Vaseline
before any run,make sure u put Vaseline on areas that have contact with friction the most to prevent trauma to the skin.For example,nipple,toes,ankle

Marathon

Do warm up,but do not over stretch ur self
U can take drugs before u run,like analgesic one hour before run
Do run on ur own pace that u are used to
challenge ur self "sky is the limit"
Breathing technique is important,inhale with ur nose,exhale with ur mouth
having Music along the way u run Does help a lot

Post Marathon

Do not directly sit after a long run,walk or stand is the best way to cool down
take a deep breath

Larian terbuka Kelantan 2011:my exp

Hello peeps,How are u doing?

Recently,I did mention that I will be in a marathon right?

So basically,I gone through it and it was an awesome experience.I cant even express how am I feeling at that time.

I am proudly wanna says

"Even though I did not win,I run non-stop for 10km honey!!"

The distance for the run is 10km,as u can see from the above map,the first moment I see this my jaw drops!!
During the running part,from USM to Jalan Bayam,I was like

"okay afif,u can do this,once u see petronas just make a turn on the left and u will be alright"-.-

I was panicking for a while at that moment because other runners run so fast!!,like running 100m race or something at the beginning and I was like SLOW JOG all the time!!and here is where Lihin left me,~~konon mau joging sama2!!~~

Then along jalan Bayam there were stations,one is checkpoint and the other one is water station.and here where I started to question my self,should I run faster?*Iwasslowjog,or should I not?Then I decide to run on my own pace which i used to.which is slow like a pig running.

Then at Dato Lundang,There were also the two stations.here I keep saying to my self

"where is the ****** Balai Islam!!!!!" huh hah huh hah huh hah*megaspingforAir

The worst run was from balai Islam to KFC!!! I am literally exhausted and run using all my muscle that I posibly had.I drank 2 cup of water at the water station which is a great feeling and relieving moment at that time .huh hah huh hah *megaspingforAiragain

Then running from KFC was easy coz I am used to the pathway ,so I can expect what is in-store for me there.Then ,100m in the end I force my self to Run as fast as can and manage to finish in 1hour and 15 minute which is For ME was extraordinaire!!

what do I get? a certificate,10 litre of free MILO,7 bottle of Red Bull,2 cup of 100plus and a whole new unforgettable experience!!!!

having a good day?
well I just want to share my story regarding my conservative class this morning.

basically today we need to do "Class 2" amalgam restoration on primary teeth.So we need to do cavity preparation like above picture.

Before that let's do some Dental class
for amalgam restoration in primary. the ideal depth of cavity is 1.5mm,if not the pulp which have nerve supply will be exposed and makes patient feel sensitive/pain.
if the pulp is exposed we need to put "liner" to protect the pulp.so that the pulp is not been traumatize.

"liner"

what is pulp horn?

pulp horn is an elongation of the pulp of the tooth that extends toward the cusp.

so , easy to say Pulp horn is actually the tips of the pulp/the highest point of pulp nearing the occlusal surface.:D

okay,back to my story telling.
please take note that for this cons class,u are given 2 hour to finish two "class 2" amalgam restoration.Means,U have limited Time to be used wisely,and trust me it was hectic!
So I already done with my cavity preparation ,so I asked Dr to check.

me:Dr, please check for my cavity prep on 85
Dr:*sit,take mirror and probe,and she start examine my work
me:***bismillah,bismillah,oklah,oklah!!!(in my mind)

becoz I knew I do slightly deep which is 1.8mm deep at central part.hope she did not realize it!*

Dr:Afif,the occlusal surface at the center is quite deep,what do you think you need to do?
me:*being protective I said* i do not think we need to do anything Dr,just do normal amalgam filling beeeecaussseeeee the part that slightly deep is far away from the "pulp horn."

(I add "because"!!!!!! and add my reasons just to avoid lining!! #lazyDrtobe)

Dr:how many pulp horn do this teeth have?
me:eeerrrrrmmmmmm,2......(**thank you afif for the PULP HORN question*!!! I hentam at first coz I don't know)

homaigod!!have u watch The Voice which is the new "IN" thing nowadays...one of the contestant name DIA FAMPTON just take my heart away with her...she was soo lovely and shy yet SUPER DUPER talented!!!
if u did not believe me go google n watch the above video and u will be amazed!!! I have goosebumps all along her performance which is madness!

I was thinking for a while,and I think it is not a bad Idea after all,here some positive points i can think of:

u will not be alone as ur family is there with u
u don't need to worry about cleaning the house,kitchen,preparing local food,because u r not alone(not like ur living in hostel using double-Decker bed
ur social life is OKAY,I mean u did not involve in extreme / high risk behaviour because u have ur wife to remind u and be ur soul mate kan
can play with ur children if u have any and see they grow up.:D
can share ur problems with ur wife
spouse can find job and exp new environment
can go vacation together..honeymoon!!! oversea okay

safely arrived at kelantan yesterday at approx 3 pm,and just woke up from an nice afternoon nap..

having a hard day unpacking which is the acticity I hate the most.11 boxes need to be carried from 1st floor.fyi I'm at second floor...

the holiday has ended finally....I had a very blissful memory and LONG break that I cant ask for more.But the sweet things must have it bad side right?in this 2 month holiday I lost alot of things.
one is my handphone which cost me RM 700++,then suddenly I realize I cannot find my HARD DRIVE during packing at home which cost me RM 200,and I lost my LG charger which I use now WHICH I thought I left it at USM....AND I lost Libary BOOKS!!!!someone took it !!! I cant find it anywhere in the store room!!!!! #died
but the good side is that I didn't feel nervous or anything,a bit lah but not like it was like tomorow is ur exam #fliphair
WHY? i dunno,maybe my reckless side is neglecting all the negative side and just go with it...what can I do with it right?things had happen....:)

my room is on 2nd floor which is the highest peak of nurani man hostel.and it is beside toilet,if u open ur door,it is directly connected to toilet..memang high class lah..#rolleyes
the best part of my room is of course the view.....u can see nurani office from my room..and it is not creepy if u open ur curtains and windows at night coz its soo bright ..:D

all in all,I have very mixed feelings coming and starting a new year ...I am excited in learning part but a bit down with my things yang LOST IN ACTION jak....hmmm..

hi peeps,I went to Thai rest. for break of fast last few weeks.It is located at api-api centre Kota Kinabalu ,Sabah just opposite to Centre Point.
If u are craving for Thai food,this place suit u well.The one of a kind curry flavor and stingy spicy mango salad , brain zapping Tom Yam.wooohoo. :D

The other reasons for u to come here beside the food are the ambiance of the place,plus the free Tamar and Drinks for Ramadhan only! :D

owh and this restaurant wall is embedded with mirror! lots of them! all around you!! so u can check ur hair anytime! :D

Squid with Black ink Sauce Recipe

This is one of delicacies that is so famous,Malaysian call it Sotong Masak Hitam.Basically we are using the ink of the squid as the sauce of the dish.

HOW TO GET THE INK OF AN SQUID?
When you open the squid ,which is taking out its guts and cartilage.U can see a tiny silver pouch hanging ,when u stab it the ink will burst out from it.So be careful.
My style is just take the pouch into pan,I used all the ink pouch for flavour and colour ^^

Ingredients:

500g of Squid with ink
20g ginger
20g onion
20g garlic
2og Big onion@bawang besar
salt n pepper
Chillie

Steps:

saute the ingredients ,I mean all the ingredient except squid
after the aroma rise,
add up the squid
done!!!so easy

Tips:
Most of the time squid hv lots of water inside it ,so if u want more sauce u can add more water.
If u want more color u can add up veggies like Capiscum,or any veggies u like.^^

Butter Crab Recipe

Ingredients

Crab ,I use 2kg weight crab
Butter : half block
Curry Leaves : 2 to 3 stalk
Sweetened Condensed Milk
Tepung kanji @ corn Flour
water
Garlic
5 birdie chillie @ cili padi

Step:

Some ppl deep fry their crab first before making the sauce ,but I don't ( malas ><)
Melt the butter and add the chopped garlic and curry leaves
when the aroma hit ur olfactory nerves,add the crab
when the crab turns color,put the milk as sweet as you like
then , add some water,close the lid and wait for a while
of course don't forget ur salt and pepper
if u want to make it spicier ,u can add up birdie chillie@cili padi ,or lots of pepper

Chicken with honey sauce (Ayam masak Madu)

Ingredients:

1 Kg of Chicken
100g Garlic
100g Onion
1 lemon grass
1 cinnamon
3 star anise
1 birdie chilie
1 galanga (lengkuas)
cooking oil

300g tomato
1 chili
1 spoon tomato sauce
2 spoon tomato puree
3 spoon honey (replace sugar)
a bit of starch (optional)
a bit of tamarind juice
water/chicken stock

Steps:

heat up the oil for saute the cinnamon and star anise first.
when the aroma is up,put the onion ,dotted lemon grass,birdie chili and galanga(u can blend this all together) then lastly put garlic to saute ,as garlic is easily burn.
then ,put all the sauces ,honey,juice and a bit of water(can use chicken stock).
add salt and pepper
add up the cleaned chicken
stir it for a while and close it
after it cooked add up starch and diced tomato .
wait 10 second
and walla

I went early to the airport at 11 am while my flight was was actually at 3pm.Thank God that I went early so that I can adjust my overweight luggage ,19 kilos total,,phewww......problem solve by adding my luggage limit for RM 5 (rather than paying RM 15 per Kilo).

Hi peeps , I am already at home.yay!!!! for me....

well the journey from kelantan to sabah was very tiring.At the same time I was very excited to wear my new clothes and shoe I bought special for this trip to go home.hahaha

Guys,honestly I didn't "fell" the excitedness of going back home this time.Total of 4 exam in 2ND year makes me thinking of exam all the time and less for home(but the desire yo dress up is soo high,hahah).
but then ,when pilot/captain said we were gonna land soon to land below the wind my tears fall down like a pouring rain,seriously it was like sudden,I cant hold it back,my nose was running like hell,thank God at that time the light was dim.if not,my bangladeshi neighbour could tell that I was crying .
Then I realized that I miss them SO much!!! all the study stuff really makes me blind and I really felt hurt because I let them down in my medical exam.

and going home there are some changes....we now had a mini "reef" aquarium konon to have that oceany feels.Plus,my dad add 2 ayam serama in his bird collection .Soo cute....^^

Tips For Artsy Acrylic Painting for beginners

Prepare your canvas ,make it as smooth as u can
outline ur drawing using non-sharp pencil or using water color
start with background or lighter shade colour as u will realize it is easier to "redo" the mistakes that u had done
use brushes that is suitable for shape and technique that u wanna do.eg:if u want to do a petal of flower, u can use a tear-drop shape brush .
make sure u have extra paper or news paper for colour experiment to see whether the colour that u want can be achieve
having more than one water bucket for brushes is suggested
prepare lots of tissues in case of emergency.
don't be too detail...this is a painting not an architectural design .Ur ways of interpreting what u see and feel through painting is more important.
ENJOY and be patient....art needs time :D

the pavement are soo cute and lovely.It was green(golf course,of coz lah fif),smells nice.....:D
but if u are a girl,please don't jog alone coz I think it was a bit bushy and there's abang2 construction and Lot's of Lizards !!!

I dreamed I am at home with my family,the only things that I remember clearly is my sister ask me to drink sake(out of all drinks in the world kan?).

I tell her she can ,if halal....(hahhah,sake halal)

then she drank lah kan.....I said drink lah only one cup(?) but I am pretty sure that she take a few cups of sake...-.-

then,suddenly all family member gather for dinner....during that time I say to my sister:

"kau mesti berus gigi,kau tau banyak stage gigi cantik ke buruk aku tengok...kau punya paling JIJIK!!!"

"brush your teeth,you know out all of things I see,yours the queen of horrendous"

Then, she ran to bathroom and I am like wtf?

but she forgot her towel and come back to take it ,but now she have tears in her eyes !!!hahah she cried!!

Health benefits of Durian fruit

It also contain good amount of minerals like manganese, copper, iron and magnesium. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase. Copper is required in the production of red blood cells. Iron is required for red blood cell formation.
Fresh durian fruit is a very rich source of potassium. Potassium in an important electrolyte of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure.
It also contains high levels of essential amino acid, tryptophan (also known as "nature's sleeping pill") which in the body metabolizes into serotonin and melatonin; these neuro-chemicals have an important functions like sleep induction and in the treatment of epilepsy.(o.o)

Don’t test patience of Malays, Perkasa warns Christians

The Perkasa chief accused Christians of exploiting sensitive issues ahead of the Sarawak elections.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 — Christians should be wary of making unreasonable demands such as asking that bibles be printed in Bahasa Malaysia, Perkasa chief Datuk Ibrahim Ali said today.

The Malay rights group president said that Malays have been patient for “far too long” and have allowed non-Malays to make excessive demands.

“How many Malays are Christian? Why do you have to have bibles in Bahasa? Why not use bahasa Iban, or Kadazan?

“This is a problem of national security ... we (Malays) have been far too giving, I want to remind them to not be excessive in their demands,” said Ibrahim.

“They are not the majority of the country,” he stressed.

The Pasir Mas MP said that the reason why the Christian community were making demands now was because Sarawak elections were underway.

“They are taking advantage of the elections, they raise these things and we cannot object ... they are trying to exploit sensitive issues,” added Ibrahim.

“We have not brought up the issue of our rights,” he said.

Christian groups have been locked in a dispute with the government over the usage of Malay language bibles, or Alkitab, and over the 35,000 new copies that have been impounded in Kuching and Port Klang by the home ministry.

The ministry then allowed the bibles to be released on condition of being stamped with serial numbers and the phrase “For Christians only”. Christian groups had initially refused to abide by these conditions and have not collected the copies.

The Najib administration said yesterday that the Malay bible importers have now agreed to collect the 35,000 copies impounded in Port Klang and Kuching.

However, the importers of the books in Port Klang have said the bibles will not be sold or distributed, but will be preserved as museum pieces to illustrate what Christians have called the “defacement” of their holy book.

Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mahmood Adam said the 10-point solution proposed last week had “paved the way” for the importers, Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM) and The Gideons, to collect the books.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein himself had also been quoted as saying that the latest move was a “positive response” to the Cabinet’s collective decision in drawing up the 10-point solution.

When Sabah, Sarawak and Malaya formed Malaysia in 1963, the process of 'Malaysianisation' has agressively taken its course. What the ultimate aim is? Untuk membentuk satu identiti sepunya, sesuai dengan status sebuah negara bersatu.

Maka terbentuklah dasar pendidikan dan kebudayaan kebangsaan untuk ditaati seluruh penduduk Malaysia. Most of these policies are heavily Malay-centric; but we the indigenous people of Borneo never complained. Kerana kami setia kepada semangat konsensus Malaysia.

Life is about give and take. Terutama dalam konteks membentuk satu negara daripada pelbagai entiti asal. We, the Sabahans, always know when to take and when we should give.

When I came for my first-degree graduation at University Malaya in August 1994, I was only allowed to dress either in lounge suit or baju kebangsaan. I can’t wear my traditional Kadazandusun costume because apparently it does not fit the definition of baju kebangsaan.

Did I complain? NO.

When I started my primary school at SK Kundasang in 1977, I was made to learn everything in Bahasa. Kenapa Bahasa? Sebab itulah medium pengantar pendidikan yang diiktiraf sebagai Bahasa Kebangsaan di Malaysia. Saya lahir dan membesar dalam keluarga yang hanya bercakap Dusun di rumah. My command of Bahasa was extremely limited. So imagine how difficult my life was at school, then.

Did I complain? NO.

Now, let get into the real deal.

The system has changed me forever. Dusun used to be the language I had the highest proficiency. Now, my Bahasa is much better than my Dusun.

Proses pendidikan yang dilalui (natijah pembentukan Dasar Kebangsaan), telah memberi satu orientasi baru kepada naluri linguistik saya. Kini saya, secara natural, lebih efektif berfikir dan berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa.

Fenomena ini bukan unik untuk saya sahaja. Tetapi situasi yang sama turut dialami oleh majoriti masyarakat pribumi Sabah/Sarawak. We still use our own native languages. Tetapi lebih menjurus kepada konteks informal: misalnya dalam perbualan kasual. Untuk konteks persuratan, Bahasa Melayu lebih lazim digunakan.

Why? Because that is the formal process we all have been put into, and get used to it. Pada setiap peringkat pendidikan: primari, sekunderi dan tertiari. So, why should we get punished for using Bahasa?

We, the Sabahan/Sarawakian indigenous should be applauded for accepting Bahasa Melayu as the national language. Kami terima dengan penuh rela bila ia diangkat sebagai bahasa pengantar untuk semua tingkat pendidikan di Malaysia.

The Sabahan and Sarawakian natives have lived here (the land we call Malaysia in this modern time) probably much longer than the existence of the Malay ancient kingdoms (Malacca, Langkasuka, etc). So by right, we could have demanded our Kadazandusun/Iban/Bajau/Melanau to be endorsed as one of the official languages of Malaysia.

But we didn’t. We chose not to.

Why? Because we are naturally nice, reasonable and tolerant people. We know how to compromise.

Negara bangsa yang kuat tidak boleh dibina kalau semua orang mahu menang dalam hal mempertuankan kebudayaan masing-masing. Mesti ada pihak yang mengalah. Jika semua etnik mau bahasa sukunya diadun ke dalam dasar kebangsaan, sampai bila-bila pun kita tidak boleh membentuk satu identiti sepunya yang dapat mengikat seluruh warga Malaysia.

Sabahans/Sarawakians have compromised so much. Tidak kan soal agama dan kepercayaan pun, mereka harus juga mengalah? Apa guna gagasan Malaysia sebagai milik sepunya Sabah/Sarawak/Tanah Melayu, jika tiada give and take?

I went out and enjoy a bit today....did some shopping and find some interesting stuff that I would like to share here....huhu

First,I would like you to meet this cute ORANGE sphere I bought..do you know what it is?
it's actually a wax....cute right?plus the Color!!! A+ for presentation.

It's said to have a memory styling molecules that are designed to get one's hair back in style whenever it gets messy...

It's perfect for me coz,as a dental student we need to wear head cap that will ruin my hair for god sake.Seriously,I look more like a bimbo than a dentist with that kind of hair.Plus.....Kelantan here is windy....thus I need to go back and forth to the bathroom or any kind of reflection I can get to "make sure" my hair is okay....not perfect ...but okay(because there must be someone that super fed up wf me ...feeling like I had a perfect hairstyle...i admit, I do n0t k...)

you knoooooow....the shirt that have an extra layer of cloth /kain that make it have this kind of wavy...ropol2 feels onto it....(ahh susahnya nak explain) jap3 cari picture at google....

back to my cardigan...I bought it at Jefferson,As you may know...that's the only place that I can really buy something with quality and style...here in kelantan....Their quality is Nice and their style hit the jackpot of my heart....not all like jefferson STYLE..as ppl said...beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.....kaaaannn....

owh,and there is one store called moot...same level as jefferson on 1st floor..their style are nice (asian fashion thingy....:korean,hong kong etc) but in terms of quality...not satisfied...

what I like about it(my new cardigan) ,is how simple cardigan can be ,but still feel sexy,alluring and attractive at the same time(what I feels when first trying it k...)...wooho...

PLUSS>>>>it is very student friendly and afif friendly as it is not too much fashion in it that makes it suitable to wear with anything and on any occasions like lecture,hanging out,dinner.....etc

I just knew this from Fb..
Rumours stated she is a Nursing Student in one of nursing school in Kelantan...(too many nursing school here,if you ask me)

luckily she didn't die..this happen around 3 to 4 pm...this afternoon.-.-
I don't know why on earth or on what extent a PERSON can be thinking to kill them self?

What are the possible scenarios that lead her when this way:

Breaking with your boyfriend? duhhhh find a new one...if this is it...I'm sure gonna slap her on her face myself.
owh maybe her boyfriend want to sell her to be a slut or else her mother gonna be killed?(macam drama?mcm lah)...I rather be a slut than my mother murdered..right??
owh or her man is a politician / kerabat diraja /suami orang....and she been force to pick her love or her life.....wahh...

finance? until need to sell your virginity ??....and be slut the rest of your life??-impossible lah kan,when you get older how come people want you anymore..still I think if I in this situation I still want my life...

Study? stress because she need to pay FEES and still need to work.....still need to FEED her siblings.....her mother is SICK.....her lecturer scold her because of her BAD result......her dad abuse her.....her family hate her because she is the black ship in the family???

WELL, NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!

because honey!!! soo many patient/people in the world/ward are dying!! not because they want to,but because they had no choice sayang oi...

and latest,my patient FOURTEEN !!! freaking 14 YEARS OLD just pass away due to PITUITARY TUMOR!!!!
his family is poor sangat ...but that doesn't stop them from hoping their children life can be save.....

Life is an opportunity to live for god sake,not only for yourself but also people around you......
Don't be SELFISH and "run" away like that....

you know,WE know..that we are better than "that"!!!!

so with RM 12.00 I bought the ticket from XXXX

Me and alfie planning to wear red shirt,I don't have one,so I borrow from alfie...
It was his "branded" xxxx shirt...I forgot.....(fyi alfie love branded stuff)

so we GO lah.....

sampai2 over there....it was crowded...like usual....full with people from all over kelantan...
so thank god we got Jia Rong (another friend that I think u should not know specifically whom) get us our chairs....yay ^^

for Deco,I would say OKAAAAYYY.....3 out of 5 star...the entrance was superb,I know they want to make it classy and have this atas/high class feeling,but I think if they add up a notch wouldn't hurt at all...

for performance ...I was SATISFIED....**** out of 5 star...I love the drum(always my fave),the yoyo...waaaa......0.0

OH,I kinda miss the serious Chinese drama where they got subtitle on screen...I think that was awesome too...too bad this year they didn't do it..

food?OH the food was nice...I had 2 round okay....really nice...because it's not SPICY at all...woohoo..

all in all, I was satisfied and enjoyed the night...they prepare so hard for that night..and I am happy they manage to pull it through...

Cons Exam

Hello Peeps!!

I just receive my Cons (conservative) exam result.I got "B" jer...owh and I got A for my 1st Dental theory test...

FYI,Cons is basically teaching on how we (dentist) treat teeth that having problems such as caries that will cause cavity.Thus,our job is to CONSERVE the remaining natural tooth structure that is healthy and then we add up restorative materials to restore its natural shape.

Therefore,in this cons exam .we are doing class 2 case.which involve occlusal and proximal part of the tooth.I am doing it on premolar mandibular tooth(45).

well today I accidentally know how to take SCREEN CAPTURE...I know it is already ages people knew about this right?me too.but for windows of course;not mac.

so I googled it and found this:

To capture the entire desktop, press Command-Shift-3. The screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop.
To copy the entire desktop, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program.
To capture a portion of the desktop, press Command-Shift-4. A cross-hair cursor will appear and you can click and drag to select the area you wish to capture. When you release the mouse button, the screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop. (The file is saved as PDF in Mac OS 10.3 and earlier.)

I only use this 3 for the past 5 minutes,I guess mac/apple people really makes stuff that's user friendly and there a lots more that I didn't discover about this thing.you can find more ways(more Complicated ways!!!) **here**

Pelatih PLKN meninggal ketika solat

Jenazah Syed Rahman Wan Ahmad selepas disembahyangkan di Masjid Kem Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur, semalam. Turut hadir Abdul Hadi Awang Kechil (belakang dua dari kiri).

KUALA LUMPUR 23 Feb. - Seorang pelatih Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) meninggal dunia ketika mengerjakan solat di kem PLKN di Rimba Templer dekat sini, semalam.

Syed Rahman Wan Ahmad, 18, berasal dari Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, meninggal dunia kira-kira pukul 1.45 petang.

Allahyarham sebelum ini dikatakan tidak menghidap sebarang penyakit dan berada dalam keadaan sihat.

Bapanya, Wan Ahmad Wan Yassin, 50, ketika ditemui di Kem Sungai Besi di sini berkata, dia sekeluarga terkejut sebaik sahaja dimaklumkan mengenai kematian anaknya.

Katanya, arwah tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda aneh selain melahirkan rasa seronok dan selesa berada di kem berkenaan.

"Kali terakhir arwah menghubungi kami sekeluarga pada Ahad lalu dan menyatakan dia berada dalam keadaan baik serta seronok tinggal di kem terbabit.

"Saya tidak sangka dia akan meninggalkan kami dengan begitu cepat," katanya yang akan membawa pulang jenazah anaknya ke Sabah, hari ini.

Wan Ahmad turut berpuas hati dengan Jabatan Latihan Khidmat Negara (JLKN) dan berterima kasih terhadap pihak pengurusan yang sanggup menanggung perjalanan pergi dan balik keluarganya.

Selain itu, rakan Allahyarham, Aminuddin Basir, 17, ketika ditemui berkata, arwah merupakan seorang yang sangat ramah dan baik hati.

"Walaupun baru beberapa minggu menyertai latihan di PLKN, arwah sudah dikenali ramai kerana keramahannya dengan semua pelatih di kem," katanya ketika ditemui di Masjid Kem Sungai Besi di sini.

Dalam pada itu, Ketua Pengarah JLKN, Datuk Abdul Hadi Awang Kechil berharap tiada sesiapa yang akan menimbulkan spekulasi.

Beliau berkata, berdasarkan rekod kesihatan dan perubatan arwah, dia berada dalam keadaan sihat serta tidak mempunyai sebarang penyakit.

"Setiap peserta PLKN dilindungi insurans yang bernilai RM55,000, bagi melibatkan kematian biasa," katanya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Daerah Gombak, Asisten Komisioner Abdul Rahim Abdullah ketika dihubungi mengesahkan mengenai kejadian itu.

Katanya, mayat mangsa dibawa ke Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) untuk bedah siasat dan punca kematian dipercayai akibat sawan.

"Kita mengklasifikasikan kes ini sebagai mati mengejut dan tiada unsur-unsur jenayah dilaporkan berlaku," katanya.

Rubber Dam

What is rubber dam?
thin squares of latex rubber. Silicone versions are available for those with latex allergies.

Functions?
The main function is to isolate the tooth being treated from its environment, in particular from the bacteria in the oral cavity

Tips on applying RB:

pin the hole according to your tooth size.for me I prefer to be using smaller size hole so that the rubber dam can easily held in CEJ(cemento enamel junction)
put wax around the hole:for easy insertion of tooth and prevention of tearing apart the RB
distance between each hole must be minimum as possible to ensure a fitting and doesn't hurt the pt gums.However,the isolation should be adequate(means no hole etc)
OH,before u punch the RB make sure the RB puncher cleaned and make sure the hole is empty.

okay,actually it is not me yang dipukau,but actually my friend /dorm mate/batch mate.
okay to make story short.....He was walking back to hostel from CSC(clinical skill centre) by the corridor on 1st floor that directed towards the PPSG bridge.(if u are USMKKians you know lah k,if not....imagine jer lah yer...)

he say,it was like around 4.40pm.as he walks back home.......

alone......

as he pass the red bench where usually patient family will wait and rest there....

there was this guy ......sitting......

suddenly......

Pleading for money…..

The guy said…..

Something like…….”Please ,I don’t have money…can I have some from you? I need money to go back…and eat….PLEASSSSEEEEEE!!!!! +++++etc lah….”(you think lah the most dramatic ways of begging you can think of…k..:D

But the most important think is…..he ask for HAND SHAKE….

My friend didn’t want to…......but the guy INSIST nak juga salam okay!!in the end...hand hand shake juga….

The So-Called Journey

Today I went to DOCNAN
at Pengkalan Chepa......I had never went there before , so just relying on google map I drove there with Alfie.....
At first ,senior told that we need to go to Airport first,THEEEEN find the way to DOCNAN...but I checked it and realize we do not need to go to airport which is SOOOO FAAAR away...like you pusing whole kota bharu...So,i used an alternative way which is I am not familiar with...we trial and error most of the time....
we did miss certain roads .......T.T

yah this is the weird thing here in kelantan,idk other part in Semenanjung...it is very hard to see the signboard for the name of the road.....like Jln Guchil Bayam...HERE,you actually need to enter the road to know whether you are in the right path or not.....

I mean what is the point of entering the wrong road and end up making a U-turn later on?isn't should be a big sign board at each junction to actually know which is which road?am I right?
correct me if I'm wrong..huhu

owh this post is actually want to highlight this RANDOM STALL where we had our lunch....we had Bihun Sup Special and Kueh Tiew Sup Special and air NYUR??/coconut juice?coconut essence?:P

actually I seen a bunch piles of coconut there...then "ihh mau minum air kelapaaaa"
tadaaa we stop for lunch , exactly on 11.05am.

Seriously, the foods were delicious!!!! the soup was refreshing!!!! and I thought the combination of a soup meal and an Coconut drink is weird but instead ,it turn out great !!!! and of course our tummy is full with WATER later on.......-.-

So come lah to Pengkalan Chepa to try find this Stall your self yer....I pun tak sengaja jumpa....

Wah,demikianlah tadi sedikit sebanyak rangkap ungkapan yang saya pelajari sepanjang berjinak di dalam bidang perdebatan.Sememangnya satu pengalaman yang cukup berharga.Bila di ingat kan kembali….Semua sejarah indah ini bermula dengan satu sapaan.

Sewaktu …dalam perjalanan pulang dari kuliah.~~sewaktu rajin~~ hendak balik ke bilik.Aku di sapa oleh seseorang….Nabilah namanya

“nak join debat tak?”

“erm…nak!!! Tapi sejujurnya dah lama tak berdebat”

“takper….malam ni datang kat bilik meeting Nurani yer..no tel?”

dan begitulah bagaimana aku menghabiskan sisa malam dari 8 pm hingga ke pagi untuk berbincang usul-usul yang berjuta lemon itu,selama 2 minggu tanpa henti.Botak kepala memikirkan hal tersebut.

sedangkan diri ini sedar betapa ceteknya ilmu dalam dunia perdebatan,namun digagahi juga atas alasan untuk menimba ilmu.Dek kerana sejarah lampau yang mengimbau kembali kenangan sebagai pendebat picisan yang mampu mengalahkan kumpulan senior sewaktu sekolah menengah dahulu menguatkan lagi hentakan setiap langkah ....

“laman sosial perlu disekat;kenaikan harga barang : nasib rakyat terbela;Subjek sejarah perlu diwajibkan;Pemilihan MPP perlu dihapuskan,Pelajar Universiti Perlu Kebebasan Mutlak”

Demikian merupakan 5 usul atau tajuk perbahasan bagi sesi liga.Tambahan, diberi tugas sebagai Perdana Menteri merupakan satu benda yang baru bagi diri ini;Owh lupa hendak memberitahu kalian bahawasanya setiap pasukan dikehendaki berlawan dalam Liga ,yakni 5 usul tersebut akan wajib dibahaskan dalam kelima-lima sidang.Bagi mereka yang mempunyai ranking tertinggi selepas Liga akan ke Separuh Akhir yang di tentukan dengan kaedah Kalah mati.Seterusnya , pusingan akhir yang di hadiri Naib Canselor USM.

Status Fb: “walaupun tidak layak ke final,mendapat tempat ke 12 dari 14 kumpulan selepas 5 perlawanan liga,pendebat ke 18 dari 52 pendebat.Ianya amat bermakna buat diri ini”

Dan dari DPNC ini jugalah , afif bertemu dengan ramai kawan-kawan baru yang cukup mengujakan diri ini.Seronok sangat!!! Hahaha……

Lot's of love from me yah...hope you had a great year and this new year 2011 would be better for all of us...

It is not too late for me to congratulate all PMR candidates that pass their exam with flying colors especially my sister...Work Harder yah....for me PMR is nothing ,it is just the test to show you whether you studied correctly or not for the past 3 years ...so if you do not get what you want.there must must be something wrong that you can improve on.(^^)

FYI,I am blogging from Uni Lab because my mozilla buat hal!! can use Safari jer....but then idk why,she refuse to open anything that require password and username.so emailing,blogging,fbing cannot be done using my Mac.So here I am using windows!!!

update:

1.I just bought something that is very taboo for guys and i would make it a secret so that none of you know it!hahahha...I've been experimenting it whole night and it works!!!! walaoweh!!!

2.my scholarship money still not in yet! making my holiday sucks!!! it's the year end sells!! noo!!! I'll wait for chinese new year lah pula kan....huhu....T.T

3.I'll be arranging a Futsal Tournament and Netball Tournament for Festival Kelestarian Islam 2011...and I am very malas to think of it....hmmm...later lahhh pikir...

4.studying Gastrourinary tract physical examination and plan to go to Ward tomorrow to find patient....huaaaa

My 1st Medical Exam in the Second Year

Hello guys,love to meet you again here..

Based on the title of my entry I am very excited to share my experience,what I'd done pre,during the exam was held.You guys,especially my friends and others that do not know what is true colours of our exam are , will truly look our exam as it is like no other exam you ever seen before.

To start the story,I will begin with what were the exams that I'd taken.As you all know,dental student in USM need to study medic as well.So in 2nd year ,basically we study about disease,aetiology,pathogenesis,management,risk factor ,histology,morphology,pathophysiology,etc.

and~~~~for this latest exam it includes 4 block :

1.Foundation:basics on pathology stuff
2.Respiratory:diseases related to respi lah kan.
3.Cardiovascular
4.Gastrointestinal

we use this most often,Basic Pathology ,Robins

and~~~~for the exam we had 4 session:

1.OSPE
2.SEQ
3.OSPE Clinical
4.MCQ

personally,this is the worse exam EVER in my whole LIFE!!! so unprepared and there is no one else to blame except for my self!!! serious,bayangkan...boleh lagi tengok cerita korea 2 minggu sebelum exam...cerita God Of Study !!! BEST!!! hahaha..lol..(=.=')

This time around I am on myself because last time we had discussion group.but due to self busyness.......like as dental stud we need to do denture,teeth cavity restoration,natural tooth arrangement etc...memang if you be a dental student,memang busylah...that do not include Uni activities lagi ,that you need to join to make sure you get asrama...naahh...(time management is important,and I know I sucks in it)

So I studied alone most of the time...sometimes my friend would come and study together but very limited.okay,enough mumbling nonsense ! start with 1st day of exam!

1st day 20 December 2010
OSPE (objective structure performance evaluation)
I didn't sleep the night before .I was soo nervous and scared because I knew that I would not be okay for tomorrow test.

and yes I did super disgustingly bad!

there were 20 stations....each station you are given 5 minutes and when you heard a buzzer sound you need to move to the next station.The questions includes lots of stuff.From cellular pathology,to morphology of organ associated with diseases , to X-ray interpretation, to surface anatomy, to breath sound detection using stethoscope ,etc....

and for that day I did not expect for an active station! OMG,and it was nasogastric tube insertion!!

I was like super nervous!! even the glove didn't fit perfectly.Shit kau glove!! I panic !! I barely remember the steps and syukur ....boleh juga..

SEQ (short essay question)

one of my most hated part of exam...
you are given 14 question!
and each question has it owns abcd...
eg (I made it randomly):

Mr Ali complained of chest pain .He had night sweats and had haemoptysis.Blood pressure is 210/98 mmHg.Chest pain radiated to the left arm.

a)what is your diagnosis for this patient?
b)what is the drug use for reliveing his symptoms and show its mode of action.
c)outline the pathophysiology haemoptysis.
d)What are the investigating used to support you diagnosis?
e)/....
f).......
g)......

each question value is 10 marks .so you do the math yer.What I can say,I feel really sad to imagine a patient go for a treatment under me.....=.=...confirm wrong diagnose!!

3rd day 22 December 2010
OSPE CLINICAL

basically in OSPE Clinical we are doing hands on skills on patient.
there are 3 stations.
1 for physical examination (do Physical examination on real patient)(Monitored by Doctor)
1 for ECG electrocardiogram (the one we use for heart transduction of wave)
1 for History Taking (clerking)(with real patient also)(Monitored by Doctor)

we use this for Physical Examination

I did smoothly during Physical examination until Doctor suddenly ask me:

Dr:Give me 3 cause of clubbing?
me:(panic) Lung carcinoma ,lung absces....errr...emphysema!
Dr:okay

then lagi suddenly:

Dr:what is the sign of hyperlipidemia?
me:xanthoma? it is the yellowish bulging appearance on the orbital area and hand....
Dr: okay

whewww,memang gila!! bukan susah pun!! Dr and patient are the one yang menakutkan....serious aku sempat senyum dan berbual lagi dgn patient hahahah.....
nasib this time no need to examine chest.because last time during trial,patient aku berbulu dada lebat!!!! sangat!!!! arrghh kena juga paksa pegang....!! trauma !!=.=

4th day 23 December 2010
